A Pineville man was killed in a two-vehicle accident 8:25 a.m. Monday on U. S. 71 at Jane.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a Yuangia Amigo scooter driven by Talfey W. Reeves, 58, Pineville, attempted a U-turn and traveled in front of a 2016 Chrysler 300 driven by Tristain D. McCammon, 21, Bentonville, Arkansas.
McDonald County Deputy Coroner Jonathan Fletcher pronounced Reeves dead at the scene at 9:15 a.m.
The fatality was the 124th this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
