Joplin man arrested for two felonies after crashing into utility pole

 A Joplin man was cited for two felonies, resisting arrest by fleeing and possession of drug paraphernalia following a one-vehicle accident 2:49 a.m. today on Cedar Roud, two miles south of Carthage.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2003 Kia Forte driven by Wayne A. Youngblood, 33, Joplin, ran off the roadway and struck a utility pole.

Youngblood, who was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Joplin, was also arrested for failing to stop at stop sign, speeding, no insurance, and failing to signal.
