A Joplin woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a one-vehicle accident 3:30 p.m. Thursday on Douglas Fir Road, three miles south of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2016 Kia Soul driven by Lisa C. Huff, 56, Joplin, failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a corner post and a tree.
Huff, who was also cited for failing to stop for a stop sign, no valid license and no valid plates, was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Joplin.
