(From the Joplin Police Department)On March 28th, 2022 at 10:07 pm the Joplin Police Department Emergency Communications Center received a 911 call of an armed robbery at the Eagle Stop convenience store at 3504 S. Rangeline Road.
The caller reported a suspect entered the store, displayed a handgun, demanded money from the register, and fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Officers with the Joplin Police Department responded to the area and attempted a K9 track, however the suspect was not located.
The suspect is described as a black male, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, tennis shoes and had a mask on his face. He was last seen fleeing south from the store. No employees were physically injured during the incident.
