Jasper traffic stop leads to arrest of Lockwood women on meth, marijuana charges

On Wednesday, March 9th, 2022 at 1453 hours, a Jasper PD officer initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of Mercer St. and I-49, Jasper, Mo, on a white 2005 Chevrolet Equinox.
 
Contact was made with the driver, Stacy Vick (Lockwood) and the front passenger, Kelley Tucker (Lockwood).







 
While speaking to the subjects, a strong odor of marijuana was smelled coming from inside the vehicle.
A search of the vehicle was conducted. The following was found:

*Glass vial with marijuana inside (Located in Vick’s purse which was lying on the front driver’s seat).

*Zip up pouch containing 3-4 straws cut for narcotic use and a plastic baggy with about 1/2 gram of a white crystal substance believed to be methamphetamine. (Located in Tucker’s purse which was lying on the front passenger floorboard).
 
Tucker was questioned in reference to the items found in her purse. Tucker admitted the meth related items were hers and she does in fact use methamphetamine.
 
Tucker faces felony charges for poss. Of a controlled substance. Vick faces charges for possession of marijuana.
 
Both Tucker and Vick are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
