Carl Junction residents injured in collision west of Joplin

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision 12:10 p.m. Thursday on Central City Road, two miles west of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2020 Nissan Versa driven by Jesse Harper, 18, Carl Junction, was making a right hand turn when it was struck in the rear by a 2008 Lincoln MKX driven by Amy J. Ruger, 26, Carl Junction.

Harper was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.

Ruger was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Joplin.
