Joplin teen injured in car-go cart collision

 A Joplin teen was injured in a two-vehicle accident 8:39 p.m. Monday on Route P a half mile west of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a homemade go cart driven by Dominic D. McKinley, 18, Joplin, pulled into the path of a 1998 Toyota 4runner driven by Sally M. Mikesell, 73, Tempe, Arizona.

McKinley was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
