(From Joplin Schools)The Joplin High School Constitution Team is at it again! Last year, this team finished in second place at the Missouri Bar Association's "Show Me the Constitution" state competition. This year, they went all the way and took first place!
The team consists of Ellie Benfield, Jeana Compton, Grayden Cravens, Wyatt Hensley, Elijah Neville, and Ami Riechman-Bennett. Coach William Keczkemethy sponsors the team and is assisted by Shawn DeGraff and Andrew Seavy.
Next up, the Constitution Team is headed to the National Finals representing the state of Missouri in mock-congressional hearings. Excellent work, Eagles! We are proud of your diligence and commitment, and we can't wait to see you shine on a national stage.
