Miami Police Department Child Predator Unit sting leads to arrest for online child enticement

Investigators from the Oklahoma 13th Judicial District Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force arrested Kerry Don Osborne of Tulsa, Oklahoma, on felony charges related to online child enticement. The Catoosa, Oklahoma Police Department, and Rogers County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the investigation of Osborne. Osborne was arrested in Catoosa, Oklahoma, extradited, and then booked into the Ottawa County Jail on April 19, 2023.

The investigation began in September 2022, when Osborne used social media to send who he thought was a young girl, nude images of himself, and repeatedly attempted to get the young girl to send him nude photos.








Osborne was communicating with an investigator of the task force Child Predator Unit which is based out of the Miami Police Department. He is charged with Lewd or Indecent Proposals to a Child under 16.

The Oklahoma Judicial District 13 Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force is comprised of the following agencies: Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, Miami Police Department, Grove Police Department, Colcord Police Department, Quapaw Nation Marshals Service, Eastern Shawnee Tribal Police, Wyandotte Nation Police Department, Miami Nation Tribal Police, and the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
