Two people were injured in a one-vehicle accident 11:50 a.m. today on MO 86 two miles north of Wheaton.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2014 GMC pickup driven by Gary L. Carterman, 65, Granby, traveled off the left side of the roadway, overcorrected, traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck the ditch.
Carterman and a passenger, Krista K. Green, 45, Neosho, were treated for serious injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
