A Joplin was cited for driving while intoxicated following a one-vehicle accident 5:30 p.m. Sunday on Route JJ one mile south of Carl Junction.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1985 Toyota Celica driven by Larry P. Thompson, 47, Joplin, went off the west side of the roadway and hit the ditch.
Thompson, who was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin, was also cited for driving while revoked and careless and imprudent driving.
