04/11/2023 Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Cherry for a report of property damage. Investigation continues.

04/11/2023 Officer took a report of a theft that occurred in the 200 block of W. 1st. Suspect was questioned and admitted he had stolen the item. A summons was issued for stealing under $750.

04/12/2023 A bicycle was located on the front lawn of the city pool and taken to Lamar Police Department for safekeeping until the owner is able to pick it up.

04/13/2023 A bicycle was found at Pete’s Convenience Store and taken to Lamar Police Department for safekeeping until the owner is able to pick it up.








04/14/2023 A victim of domestic assault came to the police department to make a report. Officers were able to get an arrest warrant and arrested the suspect for Domestic Assault in the 2nd Degree. The suspect was transported to the Barton County Jail and is held on a no bond warrant.

04/16/2023 Officers responded to the 1400 block of Lexington for a suspicious activity call. One person was arrested on a Jasper County Warrant and transported to the Barton County Jail.
