A Neosho man was killed in a one-vehicle accident 11:20 a.m. today on Route D four miles east of Neosho.
According to the Highway Patrol, a 1994 Geo Prism driven by Daniel R. Jesperson, 44, Neosho, failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck two road signs and the ground.
Dr. Seth Bingman at Freeman Neosho pronounced Jesperson dead at 2:18 p.m.
The fatality was the 25th this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
