Golden City, El Dorado Springs residents injured in collision on 160

Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 5:20 p.m. Thursday on U. S. 160 three miles west of Lockwood.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2018 Chevrolet Traverse driven by Virgie B. Wilson, 76, Golden City, crossed the center line and struck a 2007 Ford Taurus driven by Preston E. Wiegel, 51, El Dorado Springs.

Wilson and a passenger in her vehicle, Isabella L. Wilson, 21, Golden City, were treated for moderate injuries at Cox Barton County Hospital, Lamar.

Wiegel was treated for serious injuries at Mercy Joplin.
