Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 1:22 p.m. on Route C eight miles northeast of Lamar.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 driven by Michael R. Conway, 82, Freistatt, failed to stop for a stop sign and struck a 2020 Lincoln Nautilus driven by Michelle L. Johnson, 59, Kearney, Nebraska.
Both cars slid off the southeast corner of the intersection.
Conway was airlifted to Mercy Springfield with serious injuries.
Johnson was treated for moderate injuries at Cox Barton County Hospital, Lamar.
