Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 6:57 p.m. today on E. 7th Street, one mile west of Duenweg.
According to the Highway Patrol, a 2011 Toyota Sequoia driven by Edwin W. James, 56, Carthage, failed to stop for a steady red signal and struck a 2015 Honda Odyssey driven by Justin D. Pryor, 42, Joplin, with both vehicles coming to rest in the intersection.
Pryor and two passengers in his vehicle, Tannia Torres, 40, Joplin, and a 14-year-old girl, were treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
