Liberal woman injured in one-vehicle crash, cited for DWI

A Liberal woman was cited for driving while intoxicated following a one-vehicle accident 12 a.m. Sunday on Highway H, a half-mile west of Jasper.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Nicole M. Schwab, 21, Liberal, failed to navigate a curve, drove off the right side of the roadway and struck a fence and tree.

Schwab, who was also cited for failing to drive on the right half of the roadway, was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Carthage.
