A Joplin man was cited for driving while intoxicated following a two-vehicle accident 5:40 p.m. Saturday on MO 37 three miles south of Cassville.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2018 Hyundai Tuscon driven by Sebastian Carlos, 23, Joplin, crossed the centerline and struck a 2021 Ford Expedition driven by James T. Brown, 61, Havana, Illinois and its towed unit.
Carlos, who was also cited for careless and imprudent driving, was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Joplin.
