Wheaton teen airlifted to Springfield hospital after being run over by car


A Wheaton teen was airlifed to a Springfield hospital after being run over by a car 3:56 p.m. Saturday on private property off Route 5, five miles north of Wheaton.

According to the Highway Patrol report, Raven H. Mullin, 17, Wheaton, was trying to jump into a 1992 Chevrolet Lumina driven by Zackary A. Kimbrough, 18, Wheaton, when the car began backing, she fell from the window, and was run over by the car.

Mullin was treated for serious injuries at Cox South Hospital, Springfield.
