Carl Junction Chamber will dedicate its new building Tuesday

(From the Carl Junction Area Chamber of Commerce)

The Carl Junction Area Chamber of Commerce will dedicate their new building on Tuesday, May 10 at 11 am. The new facility is located at 205 N. Main, just one block south of the Carl Junction Community Center.

The new facility is the first building ever owned by the Chamber, in it' over forty year history. The new facility has been built in a partnership with the Carl Junction High School Building Trades class. The 1,800 square foot facility has served as a working classroom for the building trades class this past school year, giving the student's real-world, hands-on experience in commercial construction.

The new building dedication will start at 11 am, followed by what is expected to be the Chamber's largest-ever ribbon cutting. A tour of the building and light lunch will follow. The public is being invited to join in this historic event, as the Chamber dedicates a new building constructed on land left vacant since the 2003 tornado that struck Carl Junction.
