Three people were injured in a one-vehicle accident 4:10 p.m. today on I-49, three miles south of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2004 GMC Envoy driven by Jose Lopez, 56, Neosho, blew a tire, traveled off the left side of the road and into the median and overturned.
Lopez was treated for serious injuries, and two passengers, Lea Lopez, 3, Neosho, and Maria L. Santellano, 48, Los Angeles, California, for minor and moderate injuries, respectively, at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
