Joplin man arrested after attempted burglary of Main Street business

July 23, 4:20AM, Joplin Officers responded to an alarm at 1204 S. Main, Joplin Pawn and Purchase.

On arrival officers located Terry K. Gale, (41, Joplin) at the back of the building with a flashlight. After a foot pursuit he was taken into custody.

In his efforts to enter the building, Gale had caused some amount of property destruction but he had not gained access to the building.

Additionally, Gale had tampered with the electric meter. Gale was arrested for Attempted Burglary 2nd Degree, Felony Resisting for fleeing from a felony arrest, and Possession of Burglary Tools.

Charges were submitted to the Jasper County Prosecutor’s Office
