A Joplin man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 12:10 p.m. today on Route AA, one mile south of Atlas.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1995 Chevrolet Blazer driven by Arlow B. Chapman, 78, Joplin, traveled off the roadway down an embnnkment and struck several trees.
Chapman was treated for serious injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
