Newsmakers focuses on Joplin road projects

The upcoming edition of the Newsmakers interview program features information about the various road projects taking place in Joplin. Dan Salisbury, Assistant Director of Public Works – Engineering provides an overview of current transportation work in Joplin. He and host Judy Stiles discuss the 20th Street overpass, widening of Zora Avenue from Range Line to Main Street, St. Louis Avenue widening from Broadway to Zora Avenue, and 20th Street improvements from Range Line to Main Street. Salisbury agreed to appear again to highlight other upcoming projects.

Newsmakers may be seen on KGCS-TV the following times next week:

• Sun. July 10 – 5:30 p.m., 9:30 p.m.

• Mon. July 11 – 5:30 p.m.

• Tue. July 12 – 5:30 p.m., 9:30 p.m.

• Wed. July 13 – 5:30 p.m., 9:30 p.m.

It is scheduled to air on KOAM-TV at 5:00 a.m. Saturday, July 16.

KGCS programming may be seen over the air on digital channel 22 and on regional cable television systems. The station operates as a service of the Department of Communication at Missouri Southern State University.
