A LaRussell man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 9:23 p.m.Saturday on Route U, five miles north of Sarcoxie.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2003 Victory motorcycle driven by Greg K. Curry, 54, LaRussell, was northbound on Route U when it struck a cow that was lying on the roadway. The cow had been struck and killed by a crash that had just occurred.
Curry was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman Hospital, Joplin.
