A Gravette, Arkansas man was charged with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated and misdemeanor assault following a three-vehicle accident 1 p.m. today on U. S. 71, three miles south of Pineville.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2011 Nissan Sentra driven by Rodney W. Christiansen, 45, Gravette, turned and hit two vehicles, a 1990 Dodge Caravan driven by Lisa K. Mick, 31, Pineville, and a 2014 Dodge Caravan driven by Sandra McKain, 27, Jane.
Christiansen was treated for minor injuries at Northwest Regional Hospital, Benronville, Arkansas. McKain was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Rogers, Arkansas.
Christiansen was also charged with leaving the scene of an accident, a felony.
