Four people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 9:56 p.m. Friday on Eastbound I-44 at the 71.6 mile marker.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2002 Infiniti 135 driven by David W. Boze, 47, Springfield, slowed for traffic and was struck from behind by a 2010 Kia Sport driven by Jannie L. Fowler, 49, Joplin.
Boze, Fowler, and two passengers in the Boze vehicle, Jennifer L. Eastman, 43, Springfield, and Nicholas E. King, 29, Springfield, received minor injuries.
