A Carthage teen was injured in a one-vehicle accident 11:25 p.m. Saturday on Elm Road west of Chapel Road, just west of Carthage.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1998 Toyota Camry driven by Shane A. Smith, 16, Carthage, ran off the roadway on a curve and struck a utility pole.
Smith was treated for minor injuries at Mercy McCune-Brooks Hospital, Carthage.
