Joplin woman cited for DWI after two-vehicle crash near Anderson

A Joplin woman was charged with driving while intoxicated following a two-vehicle accident 3:10 p.m. today on I-49, two miles north of Anderson.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2007 Chrysler 300 driven by Debora K. Sims, 52, Joplin, ran into the trailer of a 2014 Peterbilt driven by Montrel E. Daniels, 27, Water Valley, Mississippi.

Sims, who was treated for minor injuries at Ozarks Community Hospital, Gravette, Arkansas, was also cited for careless and imprudent driving.
