Five people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 6:39 p.m. Tuesday on MO 43, one mile south of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2008 Dodge Avenger driven by Douglas T. Mason, 26, Grove, Oklahoma, pulled from a private driveway into the path of a 1997 Chevrolet Blazer driven by Hunter M. Woodward, 17, Seneca, striking the vehicle.
Mason and three passengers in his Mason vehicle, Brantley C. Mason, infant, Payton L. Mason, 6, and Kelli R. Merriman, 24, were treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
Woodward was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
