A Joplin teen was injured in a two-vehicle accident 5:59 p.m. Thursday on I-44 at the 116.8 westbound mile marker in Laclede County.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2015 Nissan Altima driven by Nicole A. Lofton, 19, Joplin, attempted to overtake a 2004 Freightliner X-Line motor home driven by Donald L. Bole, 78, Hartford, Indiana, and changed lanes into the path of the Bole vehicle.
The Lofton vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway and overturned.
Lofton was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Springfield.
