A Nevada man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 3:05 p.m. today on 325 NE 20th Lane, two miles north of Lamar.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2016 Polaris Razor driven by Zachary T. Splitter, 26, Nevada, was traveling at a high rate of speed in a bean field, went airborne over a bern and rolled over several times ejecting Splitter.
Splitter was treated for serious injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
