Neosho, MO – The Crowder College Business Division will host its annual business competition Wednesday, March 29. This event will host approximately 480 high school students.
This year the 2nd Annual Shark Tank competition provides students the opportunity to pitch a business idea competing for $225 in seed capital. The money was made possible by: Debbie Major with Magdaleno IPM and Debbie & Jeff Werneke with Silhouette Imaging. The Shark Tank competition aims to bring exciting and innovative business ideas the students have created to life.
High School students will be competing in written tests including: Accounting, Business Communications, Business Math, General Business, Computer Applications, Marketing, Office Procedures, and Personal Finance. There are also performance events which include: Impromptu Speaking, and Management Decision Making.
The competition will start at 9 a.m. with an award ceremony in the Bob Sneller Gymnasium at 1:30 p.m.
