Registration begins Saturday, April 1 for the new Super Summer STEAM Series offered at the Joplin Public Library.
This series, designed for children entering 2nd through 5th grades, focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM). Each week participants will experience hands-on experiments to learn about science concepts. There will be two sessions of STEAM, with each running five weeks. Topics covered include:
· Electrifying Fun
· Chemical Mixtures
· Build-a-World
· Symmetry Self Portraits and Geometric Blueprints
· Peg Board Shapes and Perspective Mountain Range
