On 2‐13‐2019 at approximately 6:30 p.m. Jasper County Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested Baylee Turner, 23 of Joplin, for sexual contact with a student (Felony).
Turner, a teacher for Sarcoxie school district at the time of this incident, was taken into custody after the investigation revealed that she had sexual contact with a student.
Charges have been submitted to the Jasper County Prosecutor’s office for review and the investigation is still ongoing and more charges may be submitted in the future.
