...Wintry Weather To Impact the Missouri Ozarks and Extreme
Southeastern Kansas today...

.A system will spread across the region today bringing a wintry
mix to the area through this evening. More snow will occur
farther north across central Missouri with more freezing rain and
ice farther south across far southern Missouri, especially near
the Arkansas border. Between these two areas, a wintry mix of
sleet snow and freezing rain will occur.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM CST THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...A wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain will
  overspread the area this morning and continue into the early
  evening hours. Total snow and sleet accumulations will range
  from a dusting near the Arkansas border, to 2 to 3 inches over
  central Missouri. Ice accumulations will range from a glaze over
  central Missouri up to two tenths of an inch along the Arkansas
  border.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast Kansas and southwest and west
  central Missouri.

* WHEN...Until 9 PM CST this evening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The
  hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening
  commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Expect slippery
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
