(From Employer Advantage)

Employer Advantage, known for more than 25 years as the trusted Professional Employer Organization (PEO), announces that Lee Allphin, the company’s founder and chairman of the board, has been awarded the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations’ (NAPEO) top honor, the Michaeline A. Doyle Award for leadership and outstanding contributions to the PEO industry.

Allphin was selected for providing exemplary leadership and service, and was presented the award by Bob Cerone, NAPEO’s Midwest Leadership Council chair, who noted Allphin’s solid ethics, good character and role in serving as inspiration to others. Upon receiving the award, Allphin stated, “I have been blessed by the work of NAPEO and its wonderful leadership.”

Allphin has served on several committees over the years for NAPEO: Heartlands Leadership Council

Chair, Leadership Council Committee Member, and NAPEO Board of Directors. Most recently, he played a key role in getting PEO legislation enacted in Missouri—the culmination of a decade-long effort.

“Lee has consistently put the advancement of not only our company, but the industry, at the top of his priority list,” said Jared Young, Employer Advantage President. “His example and dedication have not only helped Employer Advantage become a trusted industry leader, but have also set the standard for other PEO leaders throughout the country.”

Allphin founded Employer Advantage in 1989, with the first clients coming on board in early 1990. The company now serves more than 400 companies and 10,000 worksite employees throughout the country.
