Joplin, Carthage residents injured in accident on Garrison

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision 4:30 p.m. Tuesday on Garrison Avenue, one-fourth of a mile south of Carthage.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2003 Ford Ranger driven by Tiffany K. Erskin, 34, Carthage, was attempting to make a left turn when it was struck in the rear by a 2000 Ford F-250 driven by Cody M. Jones, 18, Carthage.

Two passengers in the Jones vehicle, Loyde T. Ballard, 35, Carthage, and Ezekial A. Lynch-Featherly, 19, Joplin, were treated for minor injuries at Mercy-McCune Brooks Hospital, Carthage.
