Carl Junction man killed in motorcycle crash on I-49

A Carl Junction man was killed in a one-vehicle crash 3:20 a.m. today on I-49, one mile south of Carthage.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2001 Kawasaki Ninja driven by Adam D. Brinegar, 31, Carl Junction, traveled off the roadway and overturned several times, ejecting Brinegar.







Jasper County Deputy Coroner George Woodward pronounced Brinegar dead at the scene at 4:20 a.m.

The fatality was the 25th this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
