On 4-29-2019 at approximately 2:40 P.M. Jasper County Detectives arrested Austin R. Seachris, 22, of Carthage for Assault 1st degree-Felony.
The victim is Identified as Cody L. Rogers, 27, of Carthage, Mo.
Seachris was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center awaiting charges from the Prosecutor's Office.

On 4-27-2019 at 6:00 A.M., Jasper County Deputies responded to a local hospital and contacted a 27-year old male of Carthage who said he was assaulted.
It is believed the assault occurred near I-49 and Fir Rd, Carthage, Mo.
The male was treated and released from the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
