A $100,000 cash-only bond has been set for James Arthur Myers, 32, Joplin, who was arrested Friday by the Jasper County Sheriff's Office on two counts of statutory rape and one count of statutory sodomy.Online Jasper County Circuit Court records indicate the crimes took place on October 1, 2017 and that the victim was under the age of 12.
At the time of his arrest, Myers was already facing Jasper County felony charges of possession of a controlled substance and stealing.
Jasper County court records indicate a child protection order was issued against Myers in June 2018.
