Connect2Culture (C2C) will host its next roundtable event featuring a "Media Panel," on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 from 6:00–8:00pm at Joplin Little Theatre (3008 W 1st St, Joplin, MO 64801).
Description: In developing an identity for your business or organization, you need to communicate your story, periodically, and in a variety of ways. This Connect2Culture Arts Roundtable will feature a Media Panel filled with local media representatives from the following: 89.9 KRPS, ShowMe The Ozarks Magazine, KSN 16 & KODE 12, KOAM TV & FOX 14 TV, and The Joplin Globe. The panel will answer questions and share valuable tips for Arts and Cultural Organizations/Businesses and Artists to more effectively secure media attention in connecting to their audience. Attendees will leave with knowledge of important deadlines and a starter media list.
Details: This event is free and open to people involved in Joplin’s arts and cultural community (i.e. employees, board members, volunteers from arts/cultural organizations/businesses and artists). Light appetizers and beverages will be served.

C2C Roundtables are an annual series of professional development programs that aim to educate, empower, and connect the Joplin arts and cultural community. All leaders, supporters, and advocates are welcome to attend these roundtables. Feel free to invite interested staff and board members. C2C Roundtables are a great time to learn, share, network, and establish connections.
