Applications are being accepted for the annual Children’s Lifetime Sports Academy, set for June 3-6 at Missouri Southern State University.
Sponsored by the Kinesiology Department, the goal is to teach the skills and to promote the appreciation of selected activities that can be played for fun, health and fitness throughout life. Activities will include golf, bowling, fishing, archery, canoeing, racquet sports, Frisbee and rhythm.
It will be offered from 12:30 to 5 p.m. each day and is open to all children ages 7 to 12. A fee of $100 per child will cover the four days of instruction, use of facilities, equipment and a T-shirt.
