Sarcoxie Kum & Go thieves came and went: but then they came back and were arrested

(From the Sarcoxie Police Department)

Stemming from a previous theft in progress that occurred on 05-31-2019, a Sarcoxie Officer was made aware of a theft in progress where a male had just stolen two cases of beer and left the store without paying (he swears that someone else was supposed to pay for them). The incident was caught on camera, as well as the vehicle he was driving.

On 06-07-2019, another Sarcoxie Officer was notified of a theft in progress at Kum & Go at 2328 hours (11:28 pm). It was a female in a green shirt this time that had come in and stolen a case of beer, the same kind as last time too. The description of the vehicle matched that of the previous theft.

On 06-08-2019, yet another Sarcoxie officer was notified that both the male and female were both at Kum & Go and in the same vehicle. The female was described as wearing the same clothing as the night before. The arrived and made contact with Nathanial G. Murray, 38, of Purdy, Mo, and Lacey J. Fleming, 40, of Monett, MO. After reviewing the camera footage to be sure. Both Murray and Fleming were taken into custody for theft. They were then transported to the Jasper County Jail.

Murray and Fleming are innocent until proven guilty by the courts.
