The Newton County Community Coalition will host Jermaine Galloway, the man behind Tall Cop Says Stop™, on Friday, August 30. The training will take place at Crowder College, in the Wright Conference Center from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.
Topics covered include drug culture and trends specific to the Newton County community, providing over 120 visual aids.
Throughout the training, Officer Galloway will share his experience and expertise as a law enforcement officer and will provide valuable insight to anyone working in the prevention field. Officer Galloway is a well-known keynote speaker nationwide and shares a collection of impactful testimonials on his website, www.tallcopsaysstop.com.
The purpose of this event is to foster meaningful discussion among professionals in the law enforcement, education, mental health, prevention, treatment, and health care fields about the challenges that we all face in dealing with the drug epidemic.

Born out of these conversations is a community-wide commitment to moving forward through transformational initiatives that ignite real change.
This event is open to area professionals who deal with youth and substance abuse on a regular basis. Registration will be limited to the first 200 people who sign up through the registration link below.
