(From Southern News Service)

The next “Window to the World” program will begin airing at 9 p.m. Monday, July 1, on KGCS-TV and will focus on the recent study abroad trip to Belize taken by students at Missouri Southern State University.

Guests are Dr. Jason Willand, assistant professor of biology and environmental health, and senior biology major Danielle Plutino. They share their experiences and photos from the May trip organized by the Biology Department.

Hosted by junior communication major Felicia Foster, “Window to the World” highlights the international mission at Missouri Southern, including students and faculty who participate in study abroad trips.

“These trips offer great opportunities to learn outside of the classroom in another culture,” said Judy Stiles, general manager of KGCS. “We’re happy to be able to share them with our viewers.”

The program will be repeated throughout the upcoming weeks and can be seen over the air on channel 22 as well as on regional cable television systems. It is also available to view on the station’s YouTube channel.
