Foundation created honoring Brooke Robinson, first event scheduled September 14

On Facebook today, the creation of a foundation honoring the memory of East Middle School student Brooke Robinson was announced.

Brooke, 12, the daughter of Jay and Mackenzie Robinson, was killed in an accident on Shoal Creek in May 2017.

Mackenzie Robinson's post read as follows:

Hey everyone! We have finally set up a 501c3 Non-Profit Foundation in Memory of our sweet Brooke Nicolle so that we can raise funds to start helping the youth in our community in honor of our daughter whose life was lost tragically in May 2017. 

She always loved helping others and this will allow her to still do so in her honor and memory.

We are excited to host our very first event for this foundation.
