Neosho man charged with felony leaving the scene of an accident after running stop sign, causing accident that injured two Fairview residents

A Neosho man was charged with felony leaving the scene of an accident following a two-vehicle crash that injured two people 11:30 a.m. today on Route H, five miles east of Neosho.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2012 Ford Fusion driven by Daniel B. Butcher-Laurie, 25, Neosho, failed to stop for a stop sign and pulled into the path of a 2006 Toyota Tundra driven by McKenna L. Morgan, 34, Fairview.

After the impact, the Morgan vehicle ran off the roadway and overturned.








Morgan was treated for moderate injuries and a passenger, Carter A. Morgan, 6, Fairview for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Neosho.

Butcher-Laurie was also charged with failing to stop at a stop sign.
