PIttsburg man arrested following armed robbery of Snak-Atak store

Twenty-year-old David Lamont Young III, of Pittsburg, was identified as the suspect involved in Tuesday morning’s armed robbery at the Snak-Atak convenience store, located at 1101 E. 4th St., Pittsburg.

On Thursday morning, October 31, 2019, Mr. Young was spotted in Parsons, Kansas, by law enforcement officers who attempted to apprehend him.

Mr. Young fled from officers, during which a brief vehicle pursuit ensued. 








Mr. Young was apprehended shortly thereafter by officers and was taken into custody without further incident. There were no injuries reported during the pursuit.

Mr. Young is currently being held by authorities in Parsons at this time on charges stemming from the pursuit there.
