According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2008 Dodge Charger driven by Jerald W. Harper, 50, Pittsburg, Kansas, failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the west side of the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned.
Harper was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
